The Long Weekend Retreat is near self sufficient

· water is sourced from rainwater collected and stored on the property

· hot water is solar charge

· organics feed The Retreat chickens for fresh free range organic eggs for guests

· an onsite waste water purification plant irrigates the orchard and gardens

· power is supplied by Jack Green renewable energy

· passive solar design of Retreat, with heat bank walls and sun capturing features optimises energy efficiency and creates a luxurious year round ambient temperature

Water for the outdoor hot mineral soak bath is drawn from an underground spring fifteen meters beneath the tub! Enjoy the freedom, the kangaroos, the sun or the stars and the cleansing of the rejuvenating soak bath.

The Treehouse Studio, venue for massage and wellbeing indulges at The Retreat was constructed with timber reclaimed from a wool store demolished in Homebush Bay to make way for the construction of Sydney Olympic Park for the 2000 Olympic Games. Hand hewn hardwood logs salvaged from The Retreat site after storms support The Treehouse.

Close to Mollymook, this 5 star eco friendly retreat accommodation is located in an area of astonishing biological diversity. The Long Weekend Retreat is within Narrawallee Creek Nature Reserve, 600 hectares of diverse wildlife habitat conserved in environments ranging from more than four kilometers of pristine coastline backed by a dune system, woodland forests and the wetlands of Narrawallee Inlet. A network of walking tracks lead directly from The Retreat. From Buckley’s Point enjoy a panoramic view of coastline and explore the honeycombed rock platform. Morton National Park, Conjola National Park and the South Coast's World Heritage Budawang Ranges are just moments away by car.
